For me, STEPtember has never been about counting steps. It is about bringing people together around a shared purpose, fostering inclusion, supporting wellbeing, and raising awareness for people with disabilities. Through my involvement with Reach US, I have been proud to help grow a program that inspires colleagues, friends, and families to connect, move, and make a difference together.
What makes STEPtember so special is the impact it has on people. Every year, colleagues across Barclays come together in support of one another, building connections, embracing healthy habits, and raising funds that help advance research and accessibility technology. Seeing our collective efforts contribute to a cause that improves lives is incredibly rewarding.
The most meaningful part is watching a simple act, moving together, strengthen our sense of community while supporting a cause that matters. STEPtember is a powerful reminder that when people come together with purpose, even small actions can create lasting impact.
