Stepping Up with Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Foundation
Disability is a natural part of the human experience, and it touches more lives than you might realize. In the US, more than 61 million adults — that’s 1 in 4 of us — report having at least one disability. That means millions of our friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors face barriers that affect their independence, health, education, careers, and ability to live the lives they envision for themselves.
This cause is especially meaningful to me because my brother has cerebral palsy. Growing up with someone I love who is affected by CP has given me a personal connection to the importance of accessibility, independence, and opportunities for people with disabilities.
This September, I’m participating in STEPtember to support the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Foundation and the research and innovations helping people with cerebral palsy and other disabilities live fuller, more independent lives.
If you are able, please make a donation. If you cant make a donation take the time and spread awareness for this cause. Your gift is more than an act of generosity. It’s a powerful investment that changes lives. Thank you!
