WE'RE MOVING TO SUPPORT EASTERSEALS UCP SERVICES FOR INDIVIDUALS LIVING WITH CEREBRAL PALSY!
We're participating in STEPtember to raise awareness and funds for cerebral palsy
services and research. STEPtember is a global month-long campaign that promotes
health, wellness, and raises awareness of cerebral palsy (CP).
We're joining the challenge to take 10K steps daily in September and raise funds for Easterseals UCP cerebral palsy programs. 70% of all donations made will support Easterseals UCP services for individuals with CP. 30% will go to the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Foundation, supporting research into cutting-edge physical therapy and technology that makes it easier for people with CP to live their everyday lives.
Cerebral palsy is the most common lifelong physical disability in the world, affecting 18 million people of all ages, with 1 in 323 children diagnosed with CP every year. Even though it’s so common, CP doesn’t get the attention or funding it deserves. Your generosity will change that.
Any contribution you make will make a difference. Your gift can support:
- $25 - pays for adaptive gardening tools so residents living with CP in our community living homes can enjoy gardening.
- $50 - pays for an adaptive cutting board that helps someone with CP accomplish basic kitchen tasks like cutting, spreading, and peeling.
- $100 - pays for an adaptive bow & arrow set for a camper with CP.
- $250 - pays for adaptive tools to make working the field a little easier for a farmer living with CP
- $500 - pays for one month of the upkeep and maintenance in one of our community living homes to ensure residents have a safe and clean environment
- $1,000 - pays for 1 week of summer camp for a child with CP
- $2,500 - pays for 1 student to attend an 8-week cooking class
